Accountant — Position has a high level of accountability in the area of Accounts Payable (A/P) and invoicing for Western Research Institute and Thermosolv, LLC. Ensures that policies are strictly adhered to and internal controls are maintained. Requires a complete understanding of AP processes and the effects on billing, contracts, and financial reporting functions.  Responsibilities include processing of vendor invoices for payment, audit of employee travel vouchers, periodic review and analysis of vendor accounts, maintenance of a file management system for all A/P documents including vendor files, accounting journals, A/P checks and monthly reconciliation of A/P related General Ledger accounts. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting with two or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and working knowledge of A/P and spreadsheet software. Prefer knowledge of Deltek Costpoint Accounting System and government contract accounting.

Senior/Lead Technician — Western Research Institute is seeking a motivated and skilled individual with good laboratory aptitude and flexibility in working hours to assist in the support of pilot plant research to develop a heavy oil upgrading technology.
